I have been quarantining since March.
But the country is opening up!
No.
But -
No.
I am still quarantining because my parents are over 60 and have a higher risk to catch this virus.
I don't want to be that person either.
So - what have I been up to?
CRAFTS!!
Reading.
Movies.
What have you been up to?

O.M.D. - The First Avenger and the Agent
I will add more tomorrow. Things came up.
EDIT:
Right-O. Yesterday got a little bit hectic.
I'm going to add some movie filler in for today, still unsure what to discuss, but I figure I'll give it a go.
I know this is a big budget film, and goes against the title of Obscure Movie Day, but I've been on a Marvel kick what with "Agent Carter" being on Disney+.
It got me thinking about the original film where we first see Agent Peggy Carter.
Film: Captain America: The First Avenger
Company: Walt Disney
This is the film where we are introduced to Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter.
Both the film and the series take place in the 1940s and are exquisitely done.
If you haven't yet watched the film (which by this point I doubt), then please enjoy it.
If you have Disney+, please go watch "Agent Carter" and bask in the wonderful snark, wit, and sheer power of Peggy.
I promise you won't regret it.
Which film would you like me to talk about? Leave a comment below.

After the film it wasn't too much of a shock when Agent Carter got her own TV series, if short lived.

W.I.P.
Right - another Work in Progress Month!
Here's a little tidbit on another new project I'm doing.
What are you up to this month?
Here's a little tidbit on another new project I'm doing.
“Rath,
you awake yet?”
She
turned over, hoping it was her imagination talking.
“Come
on honey, you need to get up. The bus is going to leave without you if you
don’t.”
She
shifted, tossing the covers off.
“Mom,
the trip isn’t until tomorrow.”
“Doesn’t
matter, you need to get to school.”
“Right,
no one will care if I skip classes today,” Rath muttered once she was sure her
mother was no longer at the door. “Half the senior class is skipping today to
go shopping for the trip.”
Shaking
off the potential argument she laid in bed a little longer. The dream she’d had
was still on the tip of her tongue, lingering.
Getting
up, she flipped the switch on the lamp sitting on her desk. Opening a tall
sketch book to a new page she started sketching the woman who kept appearing in
her dreams each night. The woman who also appeared in her nightmares when Rath
wasn’t looking.
She
didn’t have to see the woman there to know she was.
Finishing
the quick sketch she left the book open when she got dressed for school.
Dumping the sketch book into her bag she headed down the stairs towards the
kitchen.
“I’ve
got some toast here for you, and a sack lunch.”
“Thanks
mom,” Rath dumped her stuff while she rummaged for a few other things to add to
her bag. It never hurt to have light, non-noisy snacks in her bag when classes
became dull.
“Is
there anything else you need me to get you for the trip tomorrow?”
Rath
considered it, “No. I want to save the extra space for shopping when I get down
there.”
What are you up to this month?

Book Nook: Have You Been to the -
Night Circus
This is a novel I've had on my shelf for a few years. Thanks to being quarantined I've gotten to delve into the massive stacks and shelves full of yet-to-read novels.
With acrobats, fire breathes, lion tamers, food beyond compare, and an Illusionist, the cirque has something for everyone.
Each tent leads to something new.
Each doorway leads to something amazing and astounding.
But what if there were something sinister behind the cirque - something in charge that no one quite knows about. Something slightly off about the underworks.
Follow the circus and become a Reveler!
Just remember, you only have the one night.

Novel: The Night Circus
Author: Erin Morgentern
The circus arrives without warning.
So begins a wonderful tale about a travelling circus, apply titled Le Cirque de Rêves.
It comes for two weeks and leaves promptly after.
The circus is only open at night, from dusk to dawn.
The only color there is black and white.
