O.M.D. Time Travelling

 It's Obscure Movie Day!!

I realize that I've been doing mostly Disney films. I readily acknowledge that.

It's just that I'm particularly excellent at Disney films. That being stated I am on the lookout for lesser-known films you enjoy watching. I do ask any film recommended to be PG-13 and under.

Which leads me to find out something to do a quick write-up about this week. Getting back on track for this wayward blog.

For some of the entries, I've gone to the back of my DVD case (you read that right, case). Though now it's a bit more frustrating figuring out which to pick.

I suppose that for the sake of a new year, and a new time line . . . hmmm. . . .

Based on a novel of the same name by an author you're bound to recognize.

In 1999 Michael Crichton wrote a novel based on the science of time travel. He takes a group of archeologists from the modern era and twists their world up around.

In the midst of an unopened, unexplored site the group uncovers something unordinary. Something that looks centuries old, but couldn't possibly be.

A pair of glasses.

This leds them to a secret organization that's been making a time travelling machine.

The group travel back over six hundred years to confront a war between English and the French.

Check it out, it's a surprisingly fun film.

I'll catch you next week. Be safe and take joy in the little things.

O.M.D. Let's Go Old Fashioned

Most of the films I've been reviewing recently have been some old ones from way back.

Today is a short little blurb about a fun Western starring the great Duke.

Now, this film is a classic Western.

It was filmed back in 1963. With all the amazing things from the '60s.

The Duke himself. John Wayne. All of his Westerns are fantastic, but this is one of my favorites.

He plays alongside Maureen O'Hara.

Their pairing together in any film is a treat to see.

In this film they are a divorced couple, trying to live separate lives until their daughter comes home.

Things get a rocky however when mishaps occur and nothing is what it seems.

Go check it out.

What sort of film do you think I should watch for next month? Leave a comment below.

OMD -

Well, there's no excuse for me not to have a full written out blog each week anymore.

Hurrah for Quarantine.

While trying to find a film to cover this week's Obscure Movie Day, I realized the past few times I've been centered around Disney films.

I know - there are tons to choose from, but Disney seems to be the brand I've been sticking with. (Likely due to having worked there for abuot eight months and missing it horribly.)

A quickie about a favorite film of mine.

Well, two really. I'm sure I'm discussed them before, but I lagged on time today.

Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Treasure Planet

Based on myth and Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson respectively, these are two of my all time favorite films.

They capture the era in which they accounted for, the early 1900's and a futurisitc setting.

They both are heavily influenced by the Steampunk genrea, which I find absolutely amazing and underused.

They are both Disney films, though I'm certain there are many adaptations of both these in various formats.

Check them out today!

Any films you'd like me to watch and discuss? Leave a comment below and I'll see you next week!

O.M.D. It's a Tsunami!

A quick little blurb for a Disney Channel Original!

Film: Johnny Tsunami!

What happens when a Hawaiian teen gets transported to Vermont?

Trade the waves for the powder!

It's a great film that's currently on Disney+ from the good old '90s and and early 2000's.

(Sort and sweet because I've got a long work shift.)

Have a very Merry Christmas!

O.M.D.

With the release of Disney+ earlier this month (this is not a plug), I found myself engaged in all those films I haven't seen since I was a child. Most of these have been obscured because - well - no one's heard of them, let alone watched them.

(I also realize I've been severely lacking in Obscure Movie Day posts, hopefully, this film today will make up for it.)

A Kid in King Arthurs Court

This film was an adaptation of the beloved novel, "A Connitenicut Yankee in King Arthur's Court."

It begins with a little league game. An earthquake occurs and a kid is sent back to - yup. King Arthur's court.

He has to navigate the court, outwitting an evil duke in order to find a way home.

Check it out today!

(It's short this week, thought I'd have more time. Nope.)

O.M.D. Bedknobs And -

This is my third Tuesday down in Florida. It's been a blast so far, working in Hollywood Studios!

Throughout these past few weeks, I've come to the realization that there are a lot of films Disney made that people don't know about.

One of my personal favorites, and one that I've been talking about a lot to guests recently is one that I grew up watching.

The Setting: England, on the cusp of World War II. A small countryside town. Children are being evacuated here from London to keep them safe. We see a group of three waiting to be placed.

A loud boom resounds and a plume of yellow smoke comes around the corner. We see one Miss Eglantine Price (portrayed by the exquisite Angela Lansbury), ride up on a motorcycle. While picking up parcels she is also given the three children, Carrie, Paul, and Charlie to look after.

That night, as the children are sleeping, Eglantine hurries downstairs to a locked room off the kitchen. The parcel she has received is a broom. We learn she has been taking part of a correspondence course for witchcraft. While the broom riding isn't the best, we learn she is quite apt at the spells that come through the mail. The children witness this moonlight ride while trying to sneak back to London. Instead they divert their plans to try and blackmail Eglantine.

When a letter arrives informing her that the course has been cancelled due to the war she decides to go to London to confront the headmaster of the school.

In order to travel, and to appease the children who now know of her unique talent, she gives them a give of a magical bedknob. It can take them, via the bed, anywhere they want to go.

Arriving in London, the children find Professor Emelius Brown - and find him to be a fraud.

They stay the night at an abandoned mansion with a bomb in the front yard. Here we learn that the book Emelius used for the course was torn in half and he discontinued the course because he didn'
t have the rest of the book.

The following scene takes place on Portobello Road. It's a crowded street market where people gather to sell things old, borrowed, new.

Eglantine and Emelius encounter someone who knows where the other half of the book is. We head down to meet the bookseller, who is close to killing them for the sake of the book.

They vanish, via the bed, to the Isle of Naboombu.

Landing in the bay, they float along with the fish until being caught by a fishing bear.

These animated sequences combined with the live actors makes for a pleasant visual aid. While on the Isle they attempt to get the Star of Astaroth from the King, a formidable lion. They assist in a game of football, where Emelius is the referee. At the end of the game, they make a switch and gain the star before quickly heading back to Eglantine's home.

Because the Isle was a magical place, the star has disappeared with it. While trying to recall the words, Paul reads them out loud from his book - which happens to have the whole thing.

Eglantine performs the song for Substitutiary Locomotion, bringing inanimate objects to life. This was the reason she took the course for magic, to help aid in the coming war. The spell works, but backfires when the objects garner a life of their own.

That evening, Emelius heads back to London. While waiting for a train he sees someone cutting the telephone wires and we learn that a platoon of Nazi's have invaded.

Eglantine's cottage is the first landing spot, and we see the family being escorted to the museum in town when they try and get her spell book.

Emelius joins them there and she once again recites the chant for Substitutiary Locomotion. In a final burst of magic, she helps in sending the Nazi's running for the water, believing that she is a hexen (a witch).

I highly recommend watching this film. At only 139 minutes, the restored version is the best adaptation.

Starring the following:

Angelia Lansbury - Miss Eglantine Price
David Tomlinson - Emelius Brown
Roddy McDowall - Mr. Jelk

With a G rating, animated sequences, and a list of catchy songs, this is a film for any family looking for a fun time.

O.M.D. Dive into Adventure!

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954)
      127 minutes
     Director: Richard Fleischer
Stars: Kirk Douglas, James Mason, Paul Lukas, Peter Lorre

I may have done this film before (if I have please forgive me, it's been a weird month).

This film is based on the Jules Verne novel of the same title. It follows the exploits of Professor Pierre Aronnax and his assistant, Conseil, as they try to make a conference in Asia.

While they are trying to book passage out of San Francisco, we learn there have been rumors of a sea monster which has been attacking ships.

Ned Land, portrayed by Kirk Douglas, is hired on a by the same steamer the professor is on. The steamer is searching for the monster in order to destroy it. After several weeks they come across a ship that is immediately destroyed. While searching the wreckage they stumble across the monster.

During the ensuing moments, the professor and his assistant are thrown overboard. Ned, on a rowboat, is cast adrift. The steamer drifts off, in dire conditions and unable to help the three men who were cast adrift.

The following morning they come across something floating in the water. Believing it to be the monster they follow Ned, who rows up, into the bowels of the beast.

It's a submarine.

While exploring it they witness a burial at sea - completely underwater. As the funeral procession spies them on board there is a rush for the surface and the rowboat, but they are captured!

Thus begins their adventures aboard the Nautilus.

They meet Captain Nemo and his crew, explore new islands with them, and discover why these men have chosen to live under the sea.

Without giving too much more away, go check out the film! While it was created back in the 1950s, it still holds up today. With amazing effects of the time and a timeless story, this is Jules Verne at it's greatest!

OMD: An Idea

Name some of your favorite films (preferably PG-13 and under) that you'd like to see me review.

I've got finals coming up and about four or five papers due (one that's has a page minimum of 25) - so this week is short and sweet.

Hopefully I'll see you after this madness is over!

OMD: Quest for Camelot

Welcome to Obscure Movie Day.

I actually had to go back and triple check that I hadn't done this one before.

Title: The Magic Sword: Quest for Camelot
Release Date: May 15, 1998
Time: 86 minutes

This is one of my favorite films based around the Arthurian legends.

Back in the 90's everyone was trying to cash in on Disney's renaissance: animated movies with strong female roles, musical numbers, happily-ever-afters, villains trying to take over something.

And yes - Gary Oldman as Rubar knocked it out of the park.

(You will never hear Sirius Black the same way again.)

Not only that, but it is where we get this gem of a song from:

(I kid you not.)

With many A-list actors cast such as Cary Elwes, Jane Seymour, Pierce Bronsa n, and Gary Oldman this is one of the best flicks to come out of the '90s that wasn't Disney related.

The basic premise:

Girls father is a knight in King Arthur's court. He leaves when she's a child because they are going to divide the kingdom into equal shares.

Rubar interrupts with claims he should get more. A fight ensues and Lionel sacrifices himself to save Arthur.

Song montage as Kayley grows into a teenager who wants to leave the farm and become a knight. Her wish comes true as Rubar takes over the farm, creates an evil army and uses her mother to get into Camelot to kill Arthur.....after he finds Excaliber which his griffin stole and lost over the Forbidden Forest.

While there Kayley encounters Garrett, a blind man who used to be a stable boy in Camelot before a fire took his sight. Kayley's father helped him out and he feels obligated to help her find the sword and return it.

After finding the sword they enter the Dragon territory and team up with a two-headed dragon - parts played by Eric Idle and Don Rickles.

Kayley and the sword are taken by Rubar just before the caravan from home enters Camelot. They let them in because Juliana was Sir Lionel's widow and Arthur had a soft spot for his best friends wife and family.

Kayley escapes and the big fight ensues.

Rubar used evil magic to attach Excalibur to his arm, which cannot be undone without some serious mojo.

Please go watch the movie to see how it ends!

Also: this completely Awesome music!

What's your favorite movie from the 1990s?

See you next week!

OMD: The (not so obscure) Goonies

(Disclaimer: The photo isn't mine.) (.....duh.)

Film: The Goonies
Director: Richard Donner
Writers: Steven Spielberg, Chris Columbus
Main Actors: Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Jeff Cohen, Corey Feldman, Kerri Green, Martha Plimpton, Jonathan Ke Quan, John Matuszak

The year was 1985. Pop culture was fair game.

It was a decade of awesome films.

Right - that's all I've got. It's late, I've got a paper to write. This is what you get.

Watch Goonies now - you can likely find it in the $5 bin at Walmart.

Nope here's a few things:

        Sean Astin before Samwise
        Sean Astin before Stranger Things
        Josh Brolin before Cable
        Josh Brolin before Thanos

The first film (or close to) both of these guys ever did in their careers.

Random flicks you think I should watch/review?

OMD: The Rocketeer

The Rockawho?

The Rocketeer - one of the films brought to you by the Wonderful World of Disney - Sunday evening movies.

Way back in the '90's ABC had this little thing called "The Wonderful World of Disney". Every Sunday evening, around 7 or 8, they would air a new film. It was usually introduced by Michael Eisner and Mickey Mouse, often giving a little taste of the movie by a quick sketch-up.

If you were a true '90's kid (or at least a true Disney-fan), you never missed these shows. The Wonderful World of Disney is the latest name of the ongoing airing of Disney movies and shows.

The name changes were thus:

Walt Disney's Disneyland (1954-58)
Walt Disney Presents (1958-61)
Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color (1961-69)
Disney's Wonderful World (1979-81)
Walt Disney (1981-83)
The Disney Sunday Movie (1986-88)
The Magical World of Disney (1988-90)
The Wonderful World of Disney (1969-79, 1983-86, 1991-present)

Many movies were introduced into the hearts of avid Disney fans, and parents who finally found clean films to watch.

On June 21, 1991 a film premiered that drew in the wonderment of many. At only 1 hour and 48 minutes, it was a quick watch, full of action, adventure, suspense, and steampunk themes.

Today I will discuss a little of one of my favorite films:

Film: The Rocketeer
Premier Date: June 21, 1991
Director: Joe Johnston
Based on: "The Rocketeer" by Dave Stevens

Starring:
Bill Campbell - Cliff Secord/The Rocketeer
Alan Arkin - A. "Peevy" Peabody
Jennifer Connelly - Jenny Blake
Paul Sorvino - Eddie Valentine
Timothy Dalton - Neville Sinclair

Music: James Horner

Set in Los Angeles 1938, this story follows pilot, Cliff Secord. When things go awry with a shoot-out between the mob and the FBI, leaving his plane in ruins, he finds a rocket pack hidden in another place in the hanger.

With help from his mechanic, Peevy, the make a closed helmet for use of the rocket. They are forced into it when a pilot goes into the air, drunk. Saving him using the Rocket, the crowds and masses label him "The Rocketeer".

His girlfriend, Jenny, is an actress working with the famous swashbuckler Neville Sinclair, who is not all that he appears to be.

With the Mob, the FBI, and the Nazis after him for the rocket pack, what's to become of Cliff Secord and his girl Jenny?

I love the style of this film: 30's noir type, mob chases, acting, intrigue, spies, adventure, and a man who can fly!

I highly recommend watching this movie. You can rent it via YouTube if you don't want to buy it outright (though you may want to after watching it).

As for myself, I will be checking out the book it was based off of in the coming week.

Any film you think I should watch? Leave a comment below (especially if you've seen this one, or went to watch it somewhere).

Enjoy your week.

OMD: Magic in the Water

I changed up which movie I'd be going over today. Partly because the original idea would have been great, but it's coming later, and partly because I'm watching this one right now.

Title: Magic in the Water
Year: 1995

I remember watching this when it first came out.

Okay, alright, I basically remember the Oreos. Those little cookies played a huge part in this film! And you can tell how dated it is by the package the oreos come in.

Think Lock Ness, only in Canada and with Mark Harmon years before NCIS.

And lots of Oreos.

This film is kinda a gem from the 90's. It has a great message about spending time with family (which was a huge deal back in the 90's), making friends, and being kind to the environment.

It may seem dated (I'm looking at you - hairstyles) - but the message still holds. And once you see Orky it will be well worth the pay out ... if you see Orky.

Check out the trailer here:

I believe you can also check it out on YouTube.

Have a fun week, leave a comment below with a film you think I should post about.

OMD: The Rescuers Down Under

I was going to do a different film, then decided that film would be best suited for Halloween.

Hence, the rather abrupt change to one of my all time favorites (probably because of the cool accents and amazing scenery) from the obscure Disney film files.

"The Rescuers Down Under" was the long-awaited sequel to "The Rescuers", a film about a society of mice who help those in need. The Rescue Aid Society.

In this film they travel to the Land Down Under!

While in Australia they set out to find a boy who went missing. Through the network of other mice and animals, they set out to rescue Toby.

This was one of the first films where they used a new style of animation. I highly recommend checking it out.

OMD: Saludos Amigos

Since up until now I've sort of found whichever movie seemed fitting (or that I randomly found on YouTube) - I've decided to try and gather Obscure Movie Day into something more....organized.

Perhaps later on I'll have themed months - but for now I'm going to try and find ones before the day of (which is what happens more often than not).

Today's flick will be one of the first few movies that Walt Disney ever made.

Title: Saludos Amigos
Year: 1943
Company: Walt Disney

Firstly: I love this movie.

It's a film all about Mexico and South America. The artists who created this movie traveled to location and drew nearly 98% of it while down there. (The extras on the DVD were excellent, as it delved deeper into the development process.)

It's a movie that sets Donald Duck as our host - as he gets presents from friends down in South America.

The first location takes us to Central America - including views of the city, and a short film about a rather crazy bird.

The second introduces us to a new character that has become part of the Disney culture: Jose Carioca, the Brazilian parrot. This was the first appearance of this character.

Our final location is Mexico where we meet the ..... you know what? I did something exceptionally stupid of me: I confused Saludos Amigos with The Three Caballeros.

BIG DIFFERENCE AND MISTAKE.

Please forgive me.

There are 4 short stories/films in Saludos Amigos. Each one tells a tale of South and Central America. The film itself is only 42 minutes, and full of culture and history.

The characters of this film come back in "The Three Caballeros" - who in turn have their own Dark Ride at Disney World, Orlando. You have to visit Epot, specifically (and obviously) Mexico.

I went on the ride last year and it was awesome - it takes you through the movie as you try and find where Donald disappeared to.

Take under an hour and check this cool flick (technically the 6th movie ever created by the new Walt Disney studios).

What is your favorite Disney movie from the early years? 1930-1950? Leave a comment below and let's talk Disney!

OMD: Atlantis is Waiting

I would like to take this day to talk about a Disney movie that was practically brushed under the rug because it wasn't "cool enough".

Way back in 2001 (June 3 to be exact, which is coming up soon!) - The Walt Disney Company released a new kind of movie. It used new technology to make it both an animation and a 3D component. It had breathtaking scenery, epic music and was based on the mythology of the Lost city of Atlantis.

I was able to see this in theater's and it was AMAZING!

I felt it was the absolute best movie to come out of Disney in a long time. It had everything. And it was Steampunk!

And really, Michael J. Fox was the lead voice actor!

I think, of all the underrated movies that are brushed aside, this one gets a lot of flack.

Right, so if you haven't seen it the plot is this:

Atlantis was buried beneath the sea because they were vain and thought they were better than the gods.

Flash forward to the roaring '20's!

Milo Thatch has been researching Atlantis his entire life. When he gets the Shepherd's journal he realizes this is the chance of adventure! The Journal outlines the exact route and way to reach the fabled city of Atlantis.

Backed by his Grandfather's eccentric best friend, Milo embarks upon a quest to find the fabled city.

For history!

He is joined by a rather rumbucktious crew consisting of:
Preston B. Whitmore - the eccentric friend who finances the entire expendicture
Commander Lyle Tiberius Rourke -leader of the expedition and in charge
Helga Sinclair - Rourke's right hand woman, in charge of keeping things running
Gaetan Moliere - a Frenchman who loves digging and dirt of any kind
Joshua Sweet - Doctor extradoniare! He can saw through anything in less than ten seconds
Vincenzo "Vinny" Santorini - An Italian with a pechance for explosives. And paper clips. Big ones.
Audrey Ramirez - Mechanic, and a girl you don't want to mess with
Jebidiah Allardyce "Cookie" Farnsworth - Cook, best with the three food groups: Beans, bacon and lard
Wilhelmina Packard - the Woman in charge of radio and keeping things running

When they reach the city of Atlantis though, not everything is as it seems.

Do yourself a favor - head over to Netflix where you can find the Lost City of Atlantis with Milo and the others.

Also: First movie Disney made that used stock sound from Skywalker Sound and Industrial Lights and Magic.

Please, go check it out. This is one of my absolute favorite Disney movies of all time.

GO!

Atlantis is waiting.

(And, if you did see it, did any of you play the game? There was a game centered around finding the Shepherd's Journal, playing as Milo's grandfather. I always got killed, but did any of you actually succeed? Let me know!)

OMD - The 10th Kingdom

I honestly had no idea what I was going to write about. (Well, as I'm writing this now I still have no idea which Obscure Movie I'm going to do today...so I'll try and get some inspiration from the wonders of Netflix.....or Youtube. Those always seem to work out alright.)

Right - Obscure Movie Day!

Alright, I know this is technically a super long TV series, but when you don't have to wait for it, it's a pretty decent movie.

About Fairy Tales.

Before Once Upon A Time was ever a thought.

Let's start off with a poster!

(DISCLAIMER: I don't own the photos. I nabbed them from the internet. Obviously credit to those who actually took them/posted them/own them. You know the drill.)

And Now - A Few Characters

The Big Bad Wolf
(Scott Cohen)

The Troll King
(Ed O'Neill)

The Huntsman
(Rutger Hauer)

Tony Lewis
(John Larroquette)

Virginia Lewis
(Kimberly Williams-Paisley)

Evil Queen
(Dianne Wiest)

I feel like I should end this post here. With a few well placed photos of a few of the main characters.

But I am committed!

This series aired back on February 27, 2000. Over 18 years ago - and it's still a wonderful series to watch.

Speaking of. In order to watch all of the episodes it would take you approximately 7 hour and 46 minutes. Worth. Every. Minute.

The Plot:

The Fairy Tale Kingdoms have lived in peace since Snow White and Cinderella. It's been over two centuries and a new king is being crowned. Only the Evil Queen is up to her old tricks again. When a spell goes awry a transformed prince is whisked away to Central Park, New York!

When the Big Bad Wolf follows him things go awry and two regular New Yorkers are whisked away to the Nine Kingdoms.

Follow them through the eight kingdoms (as the kingdom of Sleeping Beauty is still fast asleep from the curse cast. Original story: they were all asleep for 100 years.)

It all ends in a fantastical fairy tale ball!

Go check this out. I believe you can find it on Netflix still....or watch it on YouTube. (Seriously, it's all on there. What would we do without YouTube!)

Which is your favorite fantasy movie is your favorite? Leave a comment below and I'll see you people next week!

OMD: Monster Mash

I know - I know!

It's March, not the time of year for Halloween movies. And I was truly going to go with one that was more related to St. Patrick's Day.....until I realize I may have already done so. And this was on my YouTube watch list and I had such a fun time watching it.

I give you:

"Monster Mash: The Movie" (1995)

I couldn't find a decent image to post on here, so I challenge you to go onto the internet and look it up.

Right - the 90's were full of teenage-coming-of-age-always-in-trouble films and TV shows. Take "Full House" for instance....DJ Tanner is now the protagonist, with her boyfriend in a rather campy, musically fun flick.

"Romeo" and "Juliet" A.K.A. Scott and Mary are on their way to a Halloween party when their car breaks down. Lucky for them there's a rather frightening mansion close by that offers them refuge for the night.

No so luck, it's a house full of literal monsters!

I find this film rather dear because one of my favorite stage actors portrays Dracula (which was a rather big surprise for me when it came up on my playlist. I glanced the name in the opening credits and then freaked out when he started singing.)

With many twists and turns including: Dr. Frankenstein trying to transfer one brain to another body; vampires lusting for fresh blood; a wolf-man with an overbearing mother; a hunchback with a crush; a Mummy with a manager; and lots of campy songs sure to get stuck in your head.

And, of course, the titular title song: The Monster Mash.

Check it out here on YouTube - unless you have a VHS copy in your house!

What are some of your favorite holiday movies?

(Note: I am not paid for this blog. I use the names of things because - well - that's where credit is due.)

Obscure Movie Day!

Wow - I feel like I haven't done one of these in months!

Right, I should make it a good one.....hmmmmm......

This movie is one of my favorites.

It's a rare gem that has one of my favorite actors - well two of my favorite actors - not only acting, but singing as well!

Yes, it's a musical.

You all know the tale: a town is set upon by a bunch of rats who won't seem to leave. A passing Piper offers to get rid of them, for a price. With a deal struck he deposes of the rats. The townspeople negate their end of the bargain and the Piper takes the children in return.

This one has a happy ending - promise!

With astounding performances from:
Val Johnson (who also starred in "Brigadoon" with Gene Kelly)
     Lori Nelson
Claude Raines ("The Invisible Man", and "The Phantom of the Opera")
Jim Backus (Mr. Magoo, the original)

This film can be found on YouTube, though I recommend going out and buying a DVD copy.

(Also: The songs are rather catchy.)

Obscure Film Week!

Now that I'm back from Florida, and the vacation days are over, I'm back home where I can finally father my thoughts together.

Since the last time it was a wonderful world of Disney - "Blackbeard's Ghost", I think I'll go animation route this time around.

For some reason the last few movies I've reviewed have all been on YouTube. This one is no exception.

This movie is based off of a comic strip in Japan.

It follows Nemo, a little boy with a big imagination. It follows him as he journeys into the land of Slumberland. There he is to be crowned King.

However, coming with the title of King comes a bigger responsibility:

Holding the key to a massive door that keeps back the darkness.

The door is never to be opened.

Yet when it finally does open, the darkness inside is let loose upon the land of Slumberland. No one is safe from the nightmares that have been unleashed upon the world. The old King has been taken and soon others are following.

Nemo sets off on a quest to free the king and taken back the kingdom of Slumberland for the dream realm again. The task isn't easy. With a few friends along the way, using his trusty bed as transportation, he fights alongside the princess, his tutor, a round about, and some friendly goblins along the way.

Join Nemo as he regains control of the Slumberland and makes it home in time for breakfast.

I hope you enjoyed this review. If there's a movie you think I should review for next month, please leave a comment below.
