2021 - New Year, Starting Again

I find the irony of dropping this blog during a quarantine absolutely histarical.

Perhaps this year I can resume, or at least pick it up once more.

If there's anything you'd like to see from me, let me know. I'll try and get back on the regular schedule Tuesday!

July Day

Right so, I'm going to be part of the Disney College Program, starting in a few weeks.

I am thinking of doing some fun little giveaways for anyone who reads this blog (which will likely be a lot, considering maybe five people read this).

I've seen videos of vloggers/artists leaving cool little nicnacs around the parks for followers to find. As in, buying a cool little pin and leaving it in a relative obscure place, with hints and clues to find it.

What sort of things would you want to find in the parks, if you could?

Would any of you readers be interested in doing a monthly giveaway? Let me know in the comments below.

December Blues

I'm deviating from the norm of what I usually post - food stuffs, recipes, crafts, lists, basic blog things.

Over the past few weeks I've gone from feeling like Santa Claus and the Guardians of Childhood during a massive party to a mix of the Grinch and Ebeneezer Scrooge.

Maybe it's due to the work - nah. That's a lame excuse. I love my job. I get to work from home, which makes the commute (about five-ten feet to my laptop) super awesome. And I don't have to worry about the headaches of driving, personally interacting with people, or having to psych myself up. Oh, and if I get sick it's easy to call in, which makes working rather easy.

Maybe it's due to all of the arguing that's being done at home. I am part of a large family - we are spread out all over. Needless to say when something bad happens it's only a matter of time before every one of us finds out. Though that's a pretty lame excuse to not feel the spirit.

I guess my lack of Christmasy feelings is because there's not much going on in life in general. Living at home still nothing has really changed. It just seems to miss the mark.

Bonus points - there was a Christmas party last night - one that I was super looking forward to - and then yesterday morning I felt ill. I started coughing. It continued all day. I managed to get to the party, but didn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked. (Though I did come away with a fairly awesome White Elephant gift - a tin with Christmas mints, bag of ginger bread cookies, and a Cat-in-the-Hat plushie, so win!)

Hopefully I can try and get back into that Christmassy feeling before the weekend.

Stay happy!

Merry Christmas!

Happy Hanuakkah!

Happy Boxing Day!

Happy Holiday!

Post-Chocolate

I've been finding it rather - well, tedious - after so many weeks to find time during the day to blog.

You'd think with all those "Idea!" posts about how to blog going around, it would be easy to find things to write about. That's not the problem -

I am now starting to lack the desire to write this blog.

I know, I know - I was all pumped and enthused about doing this. Thought it would be a great idea - find a way to make myself some extra cash - amuse whoever stumbles across this.

I even had a plan for each week - indicating what sort of post each week would be about. the first week would be a basic, the second would be a theatre related post, the third about food, the fourth a list or something.

However - I didn't really do much cooking this past week - unlike my post last week (go try that recipe!).

Perhaps I'll try and post today about finding the drive to continue posting.

No matter how difficult it gets to continue with a blog - there's always a way to sort through it. I mean, sure one of my posts was made around 11:55 PM, but I got it done before the end of the deadline.

Let me tell you - finding a drive to blog each week can be tough. I know that there's a few hundred people out there who can get an entire month's blogging done in one day, that way they don't have to worry about it each week like I do.

(Then again, I do like a challenge, and tormenting myself needlessly.)

If you want to start blogging: do it.

If you think you can't: look at me, I have no drive, but I am.

If you have people who tell you negative things about it: Ignore them. You can do anything you put your mind to.

If is a strong word - but If is only temporary.

If becomes two words "I Did".

This is a post to help boost you up!

This is to tell you - you can do it!
You can achieve anything!
